OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On June 11, 2025, around 6:04 p.m., Gilbert Police responded to a welfare check at the intersection of Lindsay Road and Guadalupe Road after a man was reported slumped over in a vehicle. When officers approached, the man became alert and produced a firearm. Two officers opened fire, killing him. No officers were injured. The East Valley Critical Incident Response Team is investigating the shooting.
