On June 11, 2025, a 59-year-old man was found unresponsive during a scheduled safety check at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility in Visalia, California. Correctional deputies discovered the man in his cell around 6:00 p.m. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities believe he suffered a major medical emergency. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, and an autopsy is pending. The man’s name has not been released.
