OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 06/14/2025, Alaska State Troopers arrived at a property on Gaunt Lane in Houston to serve a felony arrest warrant for 34-year-old Kyle Lambert. Troopers located Lambert hiding inside a camper on the property. According to law enforcement, Lambert refused orders to exit and allegedly produced a handgun as troopers entered the camper. Multiple troopers opened fire, fatally wounding him. A woman who was also inside the camper exited safely and was not injured. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation and the Office of Special Prosecutions are reviewing the incident.
