Event : Motorcycle driver killed by police chase crash
OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 06/20/2025 at around 8:02 p.m., a Campbell County Sheriff’s deputy observed two motorcycles, including one operated by Jonathan Townsend, traveling at high speed. The deputy escalated a high-speed pursuit on Highway 450, during which Townsend’s motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in the 5300 block area. Townsend and his passenger, Amber Cisneros (44), were both killed at the scene from crash injuries. No injuries were reported among deputies or the truck driver. The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office has not released the deputy’s name.
