On 07/01/2025 around 1:30 a.m., deputies entered a home on Old Timers Court to serve a warrant. Cameron Ray Dennett opened fire inside the house. Officers returned fire and killed him. A 28-year-old woman at the scene was arrested on unrelated charges. The incident is under investigation by South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
