OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 07/08/2025 at approximately 6:40 a.m., Deputy Brionna S. Brown of the Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office was driving a 2019 Dodge Ram west on Yale Street while on duty when she collided with a 1986 Toyota truck traveling north on Crosby Road. Two juvenile occupants of the Toyota were pronounced dead at the scene. Deputy Brown sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
