A 40-year-old woman was found unresponsive in a holding cell at the Brookline Police Department around 2:30 p.m. on 07/05/2025. She was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead shortly before 3:30 p.m. The Norfolk District Attorney's Office is investigating the death as a homicide pending autopsy and toxicology results.
