Columbia County deputies pursued 47-year-old Kyle Davis Graham after he had earlier eluded Washington authorities, escalating a multi-jurisdictional pursuit that ended near Deer Island. Deputies located Graham's vehicle near the intersection of Canaan Road and Highway 30. The chase culminated when Graham crashed down a steep embankment near Merrill Creek, rendering his vehicle disabled.
