OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 07/24–07/25/2025, Monongahela Police responded to a report that Zachry Allen Hamilton was armed and in crisis at a residence on the 100 block of Elm Street. Washington County SWAT established a perimeter and attempted negotiations over several hours. When officers made entry, Hamilton was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Westmoreland County Detective Bureau is investigating.
