OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Around 10:30 p.m., a Grannis police officer responded to assist with an eviction on County Road 14. As the officer arrived, Darrin Laudermilk, 65, came out onto the driveway with a pistol and began shooting. The officer returned fire and struck Laudermilk. He died at the scene. The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
