OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

Around 2:30 a.m. on August 1, 2025, a civilian attempted to force their way through the main gate of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base on Craycroft Road. Security personnel from the 355th Security Forces Squadron deployed a barrier, which the vehicle crashed into. The driver reversed and continued the breach attempt. Security forces opened fire, killing the individual. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations is leading the investigation.
