OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 07/29/2025, DeQuincy Police arrested 37-year-old Clifton Dale Boudreaux for an alleged attempted home invasion. Police stated he resisted arrest, punched and kicked an officer, and was subdued with a Taser before being transported to the DeQuincy Police Department. While in a holding room, Boudreaux began jumping up and down, then collapsed. He was transported to Cal-Cam Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No firearms were discharged. The Louisiana State Police are investigating.
