OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 08/08/2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., members of the U.S. Marshals Service Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force attempted to serve felony arrest warrants on a 44-year-old man in the Reagan community of Henderson County. The man attempted to flee in a vehicle, and officers stopped him. Police stated he exited the vehicle armed with a gun, and a task force member opened fire, killing him. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation.
