On 08/14/2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Lake Oswego Police responded to a domestic assault call at a residence on Timberline Drive. A woman safely exited the home before officers arrived. The man barricaded himself inside, refused to respond to negotiators, and threatened to set the house on fire. Multiple agencies, including the Clackamas County SWAT team and neighboring departments, surrounded the residence. Flames erupted, and fire crews from several departments responded. After the fire was extinguished, the man was found dead inside the home. His identity has not been released.
