On 08/24/2025 in the early morning, Cuyahoga County deputies pursued a suspected impaired driver traveling east on St. Clair Avenue. The vehicle crashed into another car, killing a woman inside and injuring several others. The fleeing driver was seriously injured and remains hospitalized. Deputies also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and suspected OVI.
