OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Florence County deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Anderson Field Road. A woman reported that Justin Lowery, 30, had fired a gun inside the residence. Deputies arrived to find Lowery firing multiple shots, including at his mother, and threatening to kill officers. During the standoff, deputies opened fire and shot him. He was taken to a hospital where he died. No deputies were injured. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is conducting an investigation.
