OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 08/30/2025, at approximately 12:44 a.m., Andre Myers, 22, crashed a 2005 Honda Accord on Clements Ferry Road near Cainhoy Village Road in Berkeley County while attempting to evade law enforcement. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a power pole and a tree, and Myers was transported to East Cooper Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation.
