OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 09/03/2025, at approximately 2:04 a.m., Houston County deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Houston Lake Road and Thomson Road in Centerville. Two individuals ran from the vehicle. A woman was taken into custody, while a man hid nearby and fired at deputies. Deputies opened fire, striking Aaron Michael White-Touchet. He was transported to a Warner Robins hospital and later died. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation.
