On 09/03/2025, Pleasant Hills police and SWAT responded to a home on Nantucket Drive after reports of gunfire inside. Authorities confirmed that two people, a father and son, were found dead from gunshot wounds after an hours-long standoff. Police said there was heavy gunfire exchanged during the incident. The Allegheny County Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
