OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 09/06/2025, just before 11 p.m., deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office pursued a male driver north on T Avenue near Grand Junction after a vehicle pursuit originating in Boone County. The chase ended north of 220th Street, where the situation escalated into an officer-involved shooting. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is conducting an independent investigation.
