OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 08/05/2025 at approximately 3:30 a.m., Alexandria Police initiated pursuit of a vehicle into Anderson. The pursuit vehicle lost control approaching the Roy Y intersection near State Route 507 and Pacific Avenue South and crashed into a Park& Ride lot. Two occupants of the vehicle were killed: Preston Jett (20) died (one at scene, one later at hospital). One occupant was extricated and critically injured. Identification from coroner confirms Jett as one fatality.
