San Bernardino police responded to reports of an armed robbery at a Walmart on the 5700 block of West Baseline Street. Officers said a man armed with a knife refused commands to drop the weapon and moved toward them outside the store. Police opened fire and killed him. The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office is conducting an independent investigation.
