On 10/09/2025, Chesterfield County Police responded to reports of a domestic incident involving a weapon. Officers located the suspect traveling on Hull Street Road and attempted a traffic stop, but he refused to stop. Police escalated a pursuit that ended at a residence on the 10500 block of Sunne Court, where the man barricaded himself inside. After a standoff, the suspect exited the home and shot himself. He was transported to a hospital, where he died. No officers discharged their weapons during the incident.
