OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 10/08/2025, Eden Prairie Police investigators went to a residence in Chaska to question a man wanted for felony theft and property damage. While officers were speaking to a woman outside the home, they heard a single gunshot from inside. Officers entered and found the man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is conducting an independent investigation.
