OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 10/10/2025, a Vermont State Police trooper attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on Vermont Route 105 near Colton Road in Sheldon. The driver continued driving. About two minutes later, the trooper came upon a crash where the vehicle had crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup truck. The driver, 18-year-old Aryanna Flemming, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.
