OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

On 10/13/2025, at about 4:40 a.m., a 36-year-old Roseville man drove his vehicle into the rear of a legally parked patrol SUV outside the Roseville Police Department. After exiting his vehicle, he brandished a knife and advanced toward officers despite commands to drop it. Two officers discharged their firearms, striking him. The suspect was transported to a hospital, listed in stable condition. The officer in the struck SUV sustained minor injuries. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
