On 11/06/2025, South San Francisco Police responded to a welfare check at a home on Nursery Way. Two occupants were escorted safely out of the residence by crisis negotiators. As officers continued efforts to communicate with the man inside, two gunshots were heard. A SWAT team entered and found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
