On 11/08/2025, Colonial Heights Police attempted to stop a Tesla on The Boulevard in Colonial Heights, Virginia. The vehicle continued driving and crashed into a tree on Marshall Street, catching fire and spreading flames to a nearby home. Four individuals were in the vehicle; two were killed at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital. The Virginia State Police are investigating the pursuit and crash.
