On 11/14/2025, police escalated a chase involving Christopher Lindner at speeds reported to exceed 100 miles per hour, ending on Brush Creek Road on the Lindner family property in Manchester. After the chase ended, Lindner left his vehicle and entered a residence. Officers formed a perimeter and attempted to negotiate his surrender. After an extended period, Lindner exited the residence holding a firearm and officers opened fire and killed him at the scene.
