OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 11/17/2025 deputies responded to a residence after the mother of the children fled with her five-year-old child and reported that her husband had threatened to kill her children. The two stepsons aged 14 and 16 were found inside the home having been shot. When deputies confronted Eric Grigsby outside the house he allegedly held two handguns and pointed them at officers. Deputies fired and struck him and he died at the scene.
