OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 11/18/2025, police escalated a high-speed chase involving the vehicle in which Molly Hinkel was riding. After the deputy ended the pursuit, police discovered the vehicle had crashed on Federal Road. It went off the roadway, struck a mailbox, hit a utility pole, went airborne, snapped a second pole, and hit a tree. Hinkel was ejected and died at the scene, and the driver, Daniel Banville, also died at the scene.
