On 08/28/2021 an armed man named J’Quinnton Donye Hopson fled from Central Texas while holding a woman hostage in the vehicle. The pursuit ended on Interstate 35 in Fort Worth. After shooting and killing the hostage Hopson refused to surrender. Officers opened fire and killed him at the scene.
