OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/18/2025 law enforcement executed a felony warrant at a home on Edendale Circle in Katy. Members of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and CSI units, Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division, and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force were involved in serving the warrant. Officers breached the door and heard a gunshot inside. They found the man in the master bedroom with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Medics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators from the Texas Rangers and Harris County Sheriff’s Office are reviewing the incident.
