OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/21/2025 at about 10:15 p.m., deputies from the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office responded after a woman fled to a fire department station in Warrenton, Virginia, reporting a domestic dispute and that her husband threatened her with a gun. A deputy located the man inside his vehicle at the end of the cul-de-sac on Gray Fox Drive in Bealeton and requested backup. When deputies issued commands, he did not comply and then displayed a handgun and died by suicide. Deputies secured the scene and requested medical personnel, and the sheriff’s office Criminal Investigations Division cleared the scene around 2:20 a.m. the next morning.
