On 12/23/2025 at approximately 8:56 p.m., a pedestrian was walking on the northbound Interstate 75 corridor near Terrell Mill Road in Cobb County when they entered the travel lane and were struck and killed by a marked DeKalb County Police Department patrol vehicle operated by an off-duty officer.
