OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/28/2025, El Paso police responded to a disturbance call involving a visibly intoxicated man at 4907 Crossroads in El Paso, Texas. Officers detained the man after reports that he was arguing and jumping on vehicles. While being arrested, the man lost consciousness. Fire Department medics were called to the scene and transported him to a hospital, where he later died. Police stated the death appeared related to intoxication. The El Paso Police Department reported that the death occurred during the arrest and is under internal review.
