OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/28/2025, deputies from the Graham County Sheriff’s Office were sent to conduct a welfare check after a caller reported that Georgeann Alexandra Goodman was threatening self-harm and might be mentally unstable and possibly intoxicated. Dispatch information indicated she had a firearm and threatened a shootout if contacted. Deputies established a perimeter and staged nearby. Minutes later, Goodman approached officers with her hands in her pockets and claimed to be armed. Shots were fired, and Goodman was struck and later pronounced dead at the scene. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating.
