OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/29/2025, Tucson police responded to a shots heard call in the 1900 block of South Montezuma Avenue. Officers encountered a woman outside the residence. During the encounter, police shot and killed her under undisclosed circumstances. She was transported to a hospital, where she died. The Pima Regional Critical Incident Team is investigating the shooting, with the case to be reviewed by the Pima County Attorney’s Office.
