OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/25/2025, Craig police responded to a report of felony menacing involving a firearm at a residence in the 1100 block of School Street. Officers made contact with Wayne Landini and attempted to speak with him. During the police response, Landini went back inside the residence. Shortly afterward, gunshots were heard. Police later found Landini dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident occurred while officers were present and attempting to resolve the call. An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
