On 12/19/2025, a 13-year-old girl died after being injured in a crash that occurred during a police pursuit in Ewing Township, New Jersey. According to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, a stolen vehicle was being pursued by Ewing police when it crashed into another car in which the girl was a passenger. She suffered critical injuries in the collision and later died. A 15-year-old was charged in connection with the crash. The girl was not in the pursued vehicle and had no involvement in the events leading up to the chase.
