OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/12/2021, St. Louis County Police responded to reports of gunfire on a residential block on Coleridge Drive and located George Hollins firing a shotgun from inside a house. Officers surrounded the residence and deployed tactical personnel and negotiators. Police reported Hollins appeared in the doorway holding improvised incendiary devices and fired toward nearby houses. Hollins exited the residence with a shotgun and an officer opened fire and struck him. He died outside the home. Authorities initiated review of the shooting and reported no criminal charges at the time of public reporting.
