On 12/10/2021, Camden County deputies arrived at a residence on Amber Drive to serve an arrest warrant and entered the home with permission from Christopher Paul Raborn’s mother. Deputies went to a bedroom and located Raborn behind a door while he held a weapon. A deputy opened fire during the confrontation inside the bedroom and struck him. He died inside the residence. Authorities initiated investigation of the shooting and public reporting referenced indications of mental distress connected to the encounter.
