OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/12/2021, Corona Police responded around 8:15 p.m. to a family disturbance call at a residence on Rancho Road and contacted Cristian Alanzo Anguiano in the driveway. Officers issued commands and he reentered the residence and forced entry into a bedroom where family members had taken shelter. Officers entered the home and confronted Anguiano while he held an edged weapon. Officers opened fire and struck him. He died inside the residence. Authorities initiated review of the shooting and reported no criminal charges at the time of public reporting.
