On 12/08/2021, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Short Lane and confronted a 42 year old woman during the response. Deputies reported she attacked another person with a knife inside the residence. A deputy opened fire and struck her. She died at the residence. Authorities initiated investigation of the shooting and reported no charges at the time of public reporting.
