On 01/31/2022, San Diego Police Department officers investigated a reported robbery in the Logan Heights area. Officers located 21-year-old Isaac Andrade in an alley and ordered him to stop. Police reported that Andrade was armed and did not comply with commands. Officers discharged their firearms during the confrontation, striking and killing him at the scene. The San Diego County District Attorney’s Office assumed responsibility for reviewing the officer-involved shooting.
