On 06/06/2022, Houston Police Department officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at 9127 St Laurent Lane. Officers located Lorenzo White, 28, inside the residence. Police stated White was holding a firearm during the encounter. Officers opened fire and shot him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Houston Police Department Internal Affairs Division and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office initiated parallel reviews, as required under Houston officer-involved shooting protocol.
