On 03/29/2023, Henderson County deputies responded to the Seasons at Cane Creek apartment complex at 24 Seasons Circle in Fletcher following a domestic violence call. Deputies located a 30-year-old man inside an apartment and initiated a standoff. SWAT officers surrounded the residence and attempted negotiations. During the standoff, the man shot himself. Deputies later entered and found him dead from the self-inflicted gunshot wound.
