NARRATIVE:
On 04/07/2022, 25-year-old Seth Alan Walden was killed while riding as a passenger in a vehicle that crashed and rolled near South Circle Drive and Monterey Road during an encounter with the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Police had responded to a reported burglary in progress and encountered the vehicle leaving the area. An officer began pursuing the vehicle. Colorado Springs police alleged they discontinued the pursuit because of the vehicle’s driving behavior. Shortly after police alleged they discontinued the pursuit, officers saw what they believed was the same vehicle overturning near South Circle Drive and Monterey Road. Police reported that the vehicle entered a northbound interstate on-ramp while traveling in the wrong direction, went out of control and rolled multiple times.
