Matthew Alexander Rich was at a residence in Polk County, TN when US Marshals, the 10th Judicial District Task Force agents and Polk County deputies arrived. Police allege that he fired shots as they tried to enter the residence. They shot and killed him. It is our experience that federal agents and narcotics agents alike rarely, if ever, allow viewing of bodycam footage and do not adhere to transparency and accountability and we do not expect that BWC or officers names will ever be disclosed.
