OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Brandon Keys allegedly pulled up next to a woman who had a protective order against him and ran into her car. He allegedly had a gun and got into a shootout with Officer Tschida. Police arrived and shot and killed him. Officer Tschida had been one of the officers who shot and killed Jaffort Smith in 2016, another black man. Officer Tschida was again sued for abusing a man he had arrested, named James Ryan Frei.
